Carmilla Sioux is a Barcelona-based DJ and producer. Her love for a blend of dark and electronic sounds has led her to experiment with genres such as dark wave, EBM, electro, industrial, and dark techno. By playing in renowned clubs like Moog, Sidecar, Freedonia, and Meteoro, to just name a few, Sioux has made a name for herself in the underground scene of Barcelona, as well as internationally in Malta and Berlin. Before embarking on a journey as a DJ and a producer, for over a decade, Carmilla Sioux cut her teeth as a bass player in several post-punk bands. Her experience on stage, along with her alternative background, enriches her sets with a gothic style and a meditative exploration into the world unseen. As her name may suggest, Sioux invokes witchcraft in her performances, weaving a richly subversive tapestry of emotion and sound.
